Por uma metapsicologia do corpo em psicanálise
Keywords:
metapsychology of the body, psychoanalysis, body in psychoanalysisAbstract
This article problematizes the presence of the body in psychoanalysis, highlighting the difficulty of articulating a bodily concept due to the primacy of speech and Freudian practice, which relegated the body to biology. Although Freud made some theoretical allusions to the body, he did not develop a systematic bodily theory. Post-Freudian authors, driven by clinical demands, have proposed formulations about the body, such as the unconscious body image and the bodily ego, pointing to the need to integrate the body more explicitly into psychoanalytic theory.
